I have been holding out on this blog. I admit. I have received about 3 emails so far from teachers at Fordham for various things that weren't too interesting but I'm getting a little peeved now. Apparently I'll be there on April 27, 2009 for 1 night. I will be staying at the Marriott Trumbull Merritt Parkway. I got a good rate at $90 for the night.

You know what would be really funny? If I called up with my confirmation number and asked them to change the reservation to either a night earlier/later and to upgrade me to a suite and tell them to send the new confirmation to the email address on file ;-)

End of an Era

CLN Speaking Date

Dear Eric,
Well at last the CLN board met on Thursday and we are ready to offer you a choice of dates to come and talk to us. You have your choice of either Sunday, May 31st or Sunday, June 7th. It was decided that the venue would be in a private home---one with a nice garden so we could spread out, weather permitting. The time will be 2;00 to 4;00 with light refreshments. Bence's Bachelorette Party!!!

Hi Everyone!!

As our favorite bride-to-be prepares for her wedding, we'd like to throw her a bachelorette party in NYC! I know we have a few months... but we are very limited on the available dates. Brenna and I discussed the possible dates with Lauren, and the only one that seems to work is Sat. May 30. I know that's not going to work for everyone, but I'm hoping that most of you will be available and ready to party! So, if you are free as of now... please hold onto that date if possible. I apologize for anyone who is not available, but it was the only time that will work for her :(

She gave me this list of people to invite and I think I'm still waiting on a few email addresses from her. If there is anyone else you think she would want to come, please let me know so I can forward this information.

I asked Lauren if she has any requests for the night, and she said- good food, drinks, dancing and spending time with all you guys! She's soooo excited!!!

Here's our VERY tentative plan: Depending on who is able to come, we may get a hotel room in the city to preparty and play drinking games (and then anyone not from the city can have a place to crash that night).... then maybe a fun dinner (sushi/all you can drink place, Mangia e Bevi, etc) and then out to a fun dancing club/bar.

Please let me know if any of you have ideas on places we can go to eat/dance or any other fun activities!!! Also, let me know if you think you'll tentatively be available for the festivities.
